Audience Feedback

I showed my peers product that i'm working on and asked for their honest opinion and what they like and don't like about it. I also asked for them to state whether they think it matches conventions and how and how i should change it.

First i asked Emma from my class and this was her feedback:
She said that i she likes the colour scheme and how the masthead is behind the main image. She said that to make it match conventions better i should make the puffs text smaller as it is quite overwhelming.

I then asked Jacob who is from my class for his opinion:
I made the changes Emma said i should make. When i asked Jacob for further changes i could make he said that I should change the colour of the text for the skyline. He also said that I should make the main image a bit bigger as he thought it may be hard to see from a distance.

I asked Alex who isn't in my class for her view:
i made these changes and Jacob said i should make and asked Alex for further changed i should make. She said that i should add a gradient to my background to give it more depth and match the conventions more. Apart from that she said that she liked the contrast of the colour scheme on the background colour. She also liked the vinyl on the P of my mast head and she really liked how the puffs don't overpower anything else in the picture.

 I like this image a lot but i didn't end up choosing this because of the keyboard in the background.

 For the same reason as the previous image, i didn't choose this image because of the keyboard in the background. Also i wanted the photo to focus on the vinyl.

 I didn't choose this image because it is bad quality and the image has trails which would look very poor in my magazine.

 I didn't choose this image because the facial expressions on the people weren't hat i wanted them to be. I wanted them to look like they were having a good time. Also, i wanted the image to look like a real rave but it is obvious that it is not in this image because there is a gap in the centre of the shot.

 I didn't choose this image because the lighting is very poor and it would be hard to edit.

Colour Research

This is the one of the colour scheme that was voted highest from my questionnaire (black, white, pink, blue). I decided to use this colour scheme because i like the way the colours go together and belive it matches the conventions.

This was the other colour scheme that I was thinking about using for my magazine front colour due to my questionnaire results. I like this colour scheme but think the other colour scheme (black, white, pink and blue) looks more professional and matches the conventions more.
